Responsibilities:
As a Food Manufacturing Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality cheese products. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating various machinery and equipment according to established production standards. Conducting equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning. Adhering to operational procedures and completing necessary paperwork accurately. Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), maintaining quality control standards, and participating in cleaning and sanitation processes. Prioritizing safety and adhering to all safety protocols. Reporting any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard products to your supervisor promptly. Assisting with cleaning and sanitation tasks. Being flexible and assisting in different areas of the manufacturing plant as needed. Participating in company-supplied job-related training classes or seminars. All other duties as as directed Qualifications and Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma. Previous Food Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, pull, and lift up to 60lbs frequently. Ability to read, interpret, and understand written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in the English language. Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
